"True Budo is a work of love. It is a work of giving life to all beings."    - Ueshiba Morihei O Sensei, Aikido Founder

We are determined to conduct this seminar in the safest possible manner for the participants, and for our families and communities. As martial artists, we believe that our primary concern lies in protecting others around us, just as we care for our uke even in the midst of our most intense training.

To that end, we must respectfully request that all participants be fully vaccinated prior to this event, as are all our guest instructors, all the members of Huron Valley Aikikai, and large swaths of the local community, led by the University of Michigan - which now requires vaccination for all its faculty, students and staff. Exceptions will be made for those with legitimate dispensation from a medical professional, though we encourage those who are unable to be vaccinated to carefully assess their potential risks.

We reserve the prerogative to request documentation of participants' vaccination status prior to the event.

Thank you in advance for helping us to keep moving forward as safely as possible!
